So far, Saige and I are doing great on our goal to scrapbook each Sunday, although I'm having a little bit of trouble letting her do her own thing. I'm trying really hard to allow her to scrapbook her pages the way she thinks they look best, but that's easier said than done sometimes. She really does have some great ideas. She just makes me cringe when she puts a square sticker in the absolute corner of her layout leaving tons of "white space". Truthfully, it's nice to have someone who gets me motivated and who helps get pages finished. I'll take that over perfect pages any day.
I can't seem to figure out how to get really good pictures of scrapbook pages. They are all bowed in the middle and not as clear as I would like. Maybe my camera just isn't equipped for this. If anybody has any idea how I can get better pictures, please let me know.
Clearly, this blogging thing has me addicted. Now I have to have a blog for my scrapbook pages. What a freak! I also started a blog for Saige called Saige's Pages, where she can post her own creations. She's getting pretty good at scrapbooking. I still help her some, but she comes up with some pretty creative layout ideas all by herself.
I made a New Year's Resolution to scrapbook once a week, so that I can use up the ever growing stash of paper, embellishments, etc. This is my attempt to make myself keep that resolution. Saige and I decided that with church being at 9:00 in the morning we can scrapbook on Sunday afternoons. We'll see how it goes.
